The Mojave Desert

Our paper creatures or alebrijes come from the Mojave Desert ecosystem. Some interesting facts about our ecosystem are that it is 20 million acres, is named for the indigenous Mojave people, and our raven can mimic human voices. The kangaroo rat stores seeds and beans in its cheek pouches. In our ecosystem, there are many interactions that happen for example like we can see the kangaroo rat and the raven eat seeds that often fall from trees.
